Diploma Programmes

  • Course Duration : 3 years

    Entry Requirements: Holders of Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with at least four (4) relevant passes (i.e. D grade or higher) in the following subjects: Physics/Engineering Science, Mathematics, Chemistry and any other modules non-religious or possession of at least NVA Level III of relevant trade and completion of O-level.

    Course Duration : 4 years

    Entry Requirements:
    Two principal passes in the following subjects: Advanced Mathematics, Physics, combined Physics-Chemistry or Construction for foreign applicants. An applicant without a principal pass in Advanced Mathematics and Physics must have a minimum of “C” grade at O-Level.

    Diploma or Full Technician Certificate (FTC) in Civil, Mining, Water Resources, Highway, Civil & Highway Engineering, Transportation, Civil and Irrigation, Water Supply and Sanitation, Civil and Transportation Engineering, Civil and Community Development, Land Surveying, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Construction Engineering Technology, Geotechnical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Architecture, Building & Civil Engineering, Pipe Works Oil & Gas Engineering, Construction and the Built Environment with an average of “B’’ or a minimum GPA of 3.0.   • Bachelor of Electronics & Communication Engineering

    Course Duration : 4 years

    Entry Requirements:
    Two principal passes in the following subjects: Advanced Mathematics and Physics or combined Physics-Chemistry or Electricity for foreign applicants. An applicant without a principal pass in Advanced Mathematics and Physics must have a minimum of “C” grade at O-Level.

OR Foundation Programme of the OUT with a minimum GPA of 3.0 in science cluster passing Mathematics and Physics.

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Information Systems and Network Engineering

    Course Duration : 4 years

    Entry Requirements:
    Two principal passes in Advanced Mathematics and Physics or Chemistry or combined Physics-Chemistry or Computer Science or Computer Studies or Mechanical or Electrical for foreign applicants. An applicant without a principal pass in Advanced Mathematics and Physics must have a minimum of C” grade at O-Level.

    Diploma or Full Technician Certificate (FTC) in Computer System Administration, Computer and Business Management, Computer Graphics Design, Computer Science and Information Technology, Multimedia and Film Technology, Electronics, Cyber Security, Network Engineering and Web Technology with an average of “B’’ or a minimum GPA of 3.0. OR Foundation Programme of the OUT with a minimum GPA of 3.0 in science cluster passing Mathematics and Physics. In addition, an applicant must have a principal pass and a subsidiary in Advanced Mathematics and Physics.

  • Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering

    Course Duration : 4 years

    Two principal passes in the following subjects: Advanced Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or combined Physics-Chemistry or Electricity for foreign applicants. An applicant without a principal pass in Advanced Mathematics and Physics must have a minimum of “C” grade at O-Level

    Diploma or Full Technician Certificate (FTC) in Mechanical, Maritime, Automotive, Automobile, Mechatronics, Industrial, Industrial Design, Electromechanical, Electronics, Aerospace, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Aeronautical, Robotics, Production Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering with an average of B’’ or a minimum GPA of 3.0. OR Foundation Programme of the OUT with a minimum GPA of 3.0 in science cluster passing Mathematics and Physics.

  • Bachelor of Science with Education

    Course Duration : 3 years

    Entry Requirements:
    Two principal passes in either of the following subjects: Advanced Mathematics or Chemistry or Biology or Physics or combined Physics-Chemistry or Computer Studies or Computer Science for foreign applicants.

    Diploma in Education (Science or Science related), Science and Laboratory Technology with an average of “B’’ or a minimum GPA of 3.0. OR Foundation Programme of the OUT with a minimum GPA of 3.0 in science cluster.

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science

    Course Duration : 3 years

    Entry Requirements:
    Two principal passes in the following subjects : Advanced Mathematics, Computer Science,Physics, combined Physics-Chemistry for foreign applicants, Computer Studies, Geography, Agriculture, Biology, Economics or Chemistry.

    Diploma or Full Technician Certificate in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information System, Information Technology with Accounting, Civil, Electrical and Electronics, Computing and Information Technology, Electronics and Telecommunications, Information and Communication Technology, Computer Engineering, Multimedia and Film Technology, Mechatronics, Electronics and Telecommunication, Computer Science and Information Technology, Biotechnology, Cyber Security, Network Engineering and Industrial Automation with an average of B’’ or a minimum GPA of 3.0.     Course Duration : 5 years

    Entry Requirements:

  • Three principal passes in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with minimum of 6 points: A minimum of D grade in Chemistry, Biology and Physics.
  • Diploma in Clinical Medicine or Clinical Dentistry with an average of “B’’ or a minimum GPA of 3.0. In addition, an applicant must have a minimum of “D” grade in the following subjects: Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics and English at O-Level.
