General Minimum Entry Requirements for Admission
Two principal passes in either of the following subjects: Advanced Mathematics or Chemistry or Biology or Physics or combined Physics-Chemistry or Computer Studies or Computer Science for foreign applicants.
The Bachelor of Science with Education With Physics and Computer Science is designed to prepare competent and professional secondary school teachers with strong theoretical and practical knowledge in Physics and Computer Science. The programme integrates scientific principles, computing, programming, educational theory, teaching methodologies, laboratory and practical work, assessment, classroom management, and teaching practice.
Students develop the ability to understand and apply principles of Physics, design computational solutions, use digital technologies, conduct scientific investigations, solve complex problems, and effectively teach Physics and Computer Science to learners. The programme also develops research, communication, critical-thinking, and professional skills required for careers in education, scientific research, educational technology, and related fields.
