- HTML syntax, elements, and semantic markup
- Structuring content: headings, paragraphs, lists, tables, forms
- Embedding media (images, videos, audio)
- Creating and formatting web pages
- CSS syntax: selectors, properties, and values
- Layout techniques: Flexbox, CSS Grid
- Styling text, colors, backgrounds, and animations
- Responsive design basics (media queries, viewport settings)
- Mobile-first design principles
- CSS frameworks (Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS)
- Using preprocessors (Sass/SCSS)
- Cross-browser compatibility testing
- JavaScript syntax: variables, loops, conditionals, functions
- DOM manipulation (selecting elements, event handling)
- Basic form validation and dynamic content
- Introduction to APIs (fetching data from a public API)
- Introduction to back-end concepts (servers, databases and APIs)
- Basics of PHP/Node.js or static site generators (optional)
- Introduction to popular CMS (WordPress, Joomla, etc.)
- Benefits of using a CMS for website management and security
- Basic customization and plugins
- Introduction to web hosting
- Deploying websites using GitHub Pages, Netlify, or Vercel
- Basic SEO (Search Engine Optimization) techniques
