Course Content — Fabrication Sequence

STEP i

Introduction to PCB Designing

Fundamentals of printed circuit board design.

STEP ii

Application Boards

PCBs for amplifiers, inverters and FM receivers.

STEP iii

Layout Software

Producing PCB layouts using software such as Proteus and Eagle.

STEP iv

Etching Process

Removing unwanted copper to reveal the circuit pattern.

STEP v

Drilling

Drilling component and via holes into the board.

STEP vi

Installing Components

Placing components onto the fabricated board.

STEP vii

Soldering

Soldering components and core soldering techniques.

STEP viii

Testing & Troubleshooting

Testing board output and diagnosing faults.
